Pyramid Consulting VietNam is looking for QC Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Play a QC Engineer role in projects;
• Study project requirements, and communicate with BA/PM/TL/QC Lead and other team member in order to understand the project requirements clearly and correctly;
• Provide comprehensive test cases in accordance with existing requirements and document results
• Execute tests, and report daily to QC Lead on any problems/issues and the working progress;
• Perform all phases of testing including functional, system and regression testing;
• Write SQL queries to conduct back-end testing;
• Analyze data using SQL and other tools;
• Validate reports based on independent queries;
• Fully participate in the required training sessions.

Requirement:
• Education: Bachelor of IT is required
• English: should be at Intermediate level

Experience:
• At least 1-year experience in Web/Mobile testing is required
• Experience of QC best practices
• Experience in SQL backend testing and ability to develop queries are required
• Experience in working with software development processes is required
• Experience of Load Runner / JMeter testing tools or equivalent is a good plus
• Experience in using source control system: SVN, MS Source Safe
• Experience in using/testing CMS / e-commerce / Mobile is a good plus

Skills:
• Ability to write advanced SQL queries and to prepare basic ad-hoc reports is required.
• Ability to understand Functional requirements.
• Knowledge and experience of standard software engineering process, quality control technique and quality control methodology.
• Ability to elicit and interpret requirements and business practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with application users, programmers, and other technical staff.
